Vishakha V. Sakhare

Dr. Vishakha Sakhare, is an Assistant Professor, in the Department of Civil Engineering. She holds M.Tech degree in Construction Technology and Management, Ph.D in sustainable construction materials from VNIT, Nagpur. As a research outcome, one Indian patent has been granted (Patent NO. 381608) along with 43 esteemed publications in referred Journals (Scopus and SCI indexed) & Conferences at international and national level to her credit. She has teaching experience as an assistant professor from BITS PILANI / VJTI, Mumbai for 4 years, industrial experience of around 6 months focusing on green buildings and research experience of about 5 years (SRF, PhD.). She was awarded with “International Innovation & Research Award-Highly commended” by CIOB, UK for master’s dissertation along with CSIR Travel Grant. Her article was published in reputed "Architectural Updates” magazine, 7(2), March 2013 titled “Sustainability Approach for Energy Savings in Buildings".
