Chandrashekhar H. Patil

Dr. C. H. Patil received his MCA (Computer Science) in 2006 from the University of Pune, MS and Ph.D.in 2016 from Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune, MS. He has 18+ years of experience teaching at MCA, M.Sc.(CS) students. He is an Associate Professor at the Department of Computer Science and Applications, School of Computer Engineering and Technology under the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, MIT-WPU, Pune. His fields of research interest include Digital Document Processing, Optical Character Recognition, Biometrics, Word spotting, Video Document Analysis, Signal processing etc. He has published 85+ research papers in various Scopus/WOS/SCI-indexed international journals and calendar conference proceedings like Elsevier, Springer SAGE etc. He has completed one minor research project funded by the University of Pune, Pune. He has published 8 patents and 3 copyrights. He has published one book and two book chapters. He has successfully completed one Orientation and two Refresher training programmes. He has delivered 13 invited lectures in various conferences and workshops. He has attended many conferences, workshops and seminars. He has served as organizing secretary for three national conferences and one workshop. Currently 4 Ph.D. Scholars are working under him.
