Ganesh D. Shrigandhi

Dr. Ganesh Shrigandhi is an experienced academician and researcher in Mechanical Engineering with over 26 years of teaching, research, and academic leadership experience. He graduated with distinction from Walchand Institute of Technology, Solapur (1996) and completed his Master’s Degree in Design Engineering with First Class from Vishwakarma Institute of Technology, Pune (2008). His Master’s research on fault diagnosis of ball bearings using wavelet analysis established his expertise in vibration and condition monitoring. He earned his Ph.D. from Dr. Vishwanath Karad MIT World Peace University, Pune. Since 2015, Dr. Shrigandhi has been serving as an Assistant Professor at MIT World Peace University, Pune, contributing to curriculum development, research mentoring, and innovation-driven education. He has published over 20 international journal papers, guided 25+ undergraduate projects and five postgraduate theses, and holds a national patent in AI-based HVAC systems. His research interests include Design Engineering, Mechanical Vibrations, Noise, and Composite Materials, with a strong focus on applied research and student-centric innovation.
