SHAHBAZ DANDIN

Prof. Dr. Shahbaz Dandin is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at MIT WPU, Pune, India. He completed his B.E in Civil Engineering from VTU, Belgaum in 2012, M.Tech in Geotechnical Engineering from Govt. Basaveshwar Engineering College, Bagalkot in 2014 and Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Dr. Vishwanath Karad MIT World Peace University, Pune, India in 2023. He is a renowned geotechnical consultant, and his primary research interests include mechanical soil stabilization, cellular reinforcement, geophysical testing, and numerical modeling of structural fills. Currently, he is engaged in geophysical subsurface investigations, including GPR and tomographical studies on cementitious soils. At present, three PhD scholars are pursuing their doctoral research under his supervision.
