Vivek Patel

I am a Mechanical Engineering academic and researcher with a Ph.D. in Design (Crashworthiness) from VNIT Nagpur and an M.Tech. in Industrial Design (Composite Materials) from MANIT Bhopal, currently serving as an Assistant Professor at MIT World Peace University, Pune. My research focuses on crashworthiness, energy absorption, impact and crushing behaviour, composite and auxetic structures, functionally graded materials, acoustic materials and UAV aeroacoustics, supported by expertise in numerical and experimental analysis using LS-DYNA, Abaqus and Ansys. I have published research papers in SCI/SCIE and Scopus-indexed journals and presented research at six international conferences, including IIT Kharagpur, IIT Kanpur, VNIT Nagpur and Pusan National University. I also have experience in undergraduate teaching, research supervision, interdisciplinary research and NBA accreditation coordination.
